Course Description
This open course is designed for English Language learners of all levels. There are two streams: Beginners/Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced. The weekly classes focus on improving learners’ knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and speaking. An important component of the course is fostering group discussion and debate around topical issues in order to develop learners’ oral and aural abilities, as well as their self-confidence and trust in their own voice and expression.

This is a free course. There are no entry requirements and anyone can join the course.

Throughout the course, you will:

Learning Requirements
This course is currently offered online and to participate effectively, you will require a computer, laptop, or mobile device with a reliable internet connection, and a verified and working email address.
Assessment Method
This course is unassessed, although weekly homework exercises are set where learners will have the opportunity to have their written work reviewed.
